Settings, Bridge and API keys

Profile, single sign-on, outside apps, the Bridge, and personal API keys.

Settings is grouped into Account, Organisation and Developers. The address bar keeps the tab, so you can send someone a link to a specific section.

Account

  • Profile — display name, avatar, and password.
  • Appearance — light, dark or system, for you only.
  • Notifications — which suite events reach you in the browser.

Organisation and single sign-on

Settings → Organisation renames the organisation. Admins also configure single sign-on: enable it, set the button label, client id and secret, and the authorisation, token and userinfo endpoints. When single sign-on is fully configured, members of that organisation sign in through the provider and password sign-in is turned off. Until then, members use email and password. A non-admin does not see the provider form.

Integrations

Settings → Integrations connects outside apps for the organisation. Search the catalogue, start authorisation, and return to this tab when the provider sends you back. Each connection can be limited to some of the organisation’s workspaces. Those connections are then available in the products that share the workspace. Disconnect removes the connection.

Bridge

Bridge maps a connected app onto your clients, projects and categories, per product. Open Bridge, pick TurtleTime, Tides or Kraken, choose the connection, and bind the outside records to the local ones. Sync when you want the latest pull. Members can look. Admins connect, bind and sync. Use Bridge when an outside tool should create draft time, tasks or documents. Use Integrations when you only need the connection itself.

API keys

  1. Open Settings → API Keys Keys are personal access tokens for the product APIs. They are not a portal login.
  2. Choose scopes Scopes are per app and resource, with shortcuts for all app endpoints, one app, or read-only across apps.
  3. Copy the key once A new key is shown once. The list afterwards shows a masked prefix, the scopes, and when it was created and last used. Revoke a key from the same list.
