People and access

Access is an organisation fact. Do not create a second login inside each product if you can grant the person here.

Roles

• Owner — full organisation control, including billing and destroying the org.
• Admin — people, workspaces, branding and most settings.
• Editor — day-to-day organisation changes without the commercial controls.
• Member — use the apps they are granted; they do not administer the organisation.

Product flags

Each member can be allowed Tides, TurtleTime, Kraken and Shelly independently. A bookkeeper may only need TurtleTime. A writer may only need Kraken. A crew operator needs Shelly and usually Tides.

Workspace restrictions

Leave a member unrestricted if they should see every workspace. Restrict them if a contractor should only see one client space. Products still enforce workspace membership when the person arrives; the portal is the place you set the intent.

Invites

Send an invite with the role and product ticks already chosen. Revoke unused invites from the same People list. Removing a member drops organisation access; it does not silently keep product sessions forever — they will fail refresh once the membership is gone.
